1. All Cancellations/Alterations MUST be made in writing and Acknowledged in writing by Davenport House
Cancellations/Alterations made before noon
GMT seven days prior to arrival day - No
Charge.
Cancellations/Alterations made after noon
GMT seven days prior to arrival - Full amount payable.
Early Departure - Full amount payable.
Failure to check in (No Show) - Full amount
payable.
2. Credit card will be charged on day
of departure.
3. Davenport house is a small hotel
and the reception desk is not manned 24 hours a day as in larger establishments.
Guests must therefore advise their arrival time in advance. If there is a change to the given arrival time guests
must telephone 0131 558 8495 with details, to ensure someone is waiting
to welcome them and the room has been made ready. Access to the guest rooms are by stairs, there is no lift available.
4. Parking - Free parking is available in the vicinity of Davenport
House, Monday-Friday, overnight only (between
1800-0830) and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
SECURE GARAGE PARKING IS AVAILABLE 5 MINUTES WALKING FROM DAVENPORT.
CHARGE- £12.50. PER DAY ( DAY-from 10.15AM ARRIVAL DATE until 1015AM ON DEPARTURE.DATE
THE GARAGE IS OWNED BY A SEPARATE COMPANY AND RECEIPTED PAYMENT IS BY CASH.ONLY .
PLEASE NOTE THE GARAGE SHOULD BE RESERVED AT LEAST 72 HOURS PRIOR TO DAY OF ARRIVAL.Paid parking is
available 20 minutes walking distance from Davenport House, outwith these times
and days.
5. GUESTS ARE RECOMMENDED TO PURCHASE APPROPRIATE INSURANCE TO HELP COVER ANY CANCELLATION COSTS
6. DAVENPORT HOUSE DOES NOT HAVE A PORTER TO HELP CLIENTS WITH THIER LUGGAGE.
HOWEVER IF MALE STAFF ARE ON DUTY HELP MAY BE AVAILABLE WITH INDIVIDUAL ITEMS WEIGHING 15KG (35LB) OR LESS..
7-COMPLIMENTARY WIFI IS AVAILABLE TO CLIENTS WITH THEIR OWN LAPTOP/IPHONE.
